Protect Your Shed From The Weather By Ted Woodward Winter is coming and it's time batten down the hatches against the rough weather to come. Some of your garden tools won't be used for a while and will need to stored away securely. It would be a good idea now to check that your tool shed is proofed against the weather. Check for any obvious holes or loose boards, particularly on the roof. How about the glazing. If there are any cracks, are they going to stand up to stand up to any high winds that come along? How is the paintwork or varnish? It may be a bit late in the year for that sort of job, but you need to make sure the thing is up to protecting your valuable tools. You probably have some valuable equipment in there. You don't want to come along next spring and find it ruined by water and needing replacing.
